Liberty BBQ: Falls Church City has Barbecue Again!
Are you looking for a place to get together that has something for everyone?

Northside Social, which just opened in June 2018, has plenty in store for a diverse customer base. Whether it’s for their fresh, aromatic coffee, cold brews on draft, or fresh Neapolitan pizza, you can bring literally anyone here for a fun time.

On 205 Park Avenue, the old Cloverdale House has been renovated to become Northside Social, bringing another great entertainment option to the Falls Church community. Its interior contains echoes of its history while also functioning as a modern eatery. The rustic wooden walls and bar embrace the building’s unique historical character within a new functional layout. An antique mid-century 48-star flag, a remnant from the old American Legion building, has been put on display here— a respectful nod to the past.

The opening of this location, which is owned by the Liberty Tavern Group, has been long-expected. Expanding the menu of its Clarendon location, the Falls Church location adds Neapolitan-style pizza baked in a wood-burning oven. Northside Social supports local growers by using fresh ingredients from the Falls Church Farmers Market. Plans are also in store to include a bakery in the basement, which tantalizes our imagination and palates. What’s in store in Northside Socials’ future menu?

If you can’t decide between grabbing a coffee, eating pizza, or going to the bar, then Northside Social eliminates the struggle. It’s at once a coffee shop, eatery, and bar. Ordering here is also convenient. Reminiscent of Panera Bread-style ordering, customers pay for their food then wait at their table with a buzzer.

Northside Social is a great hangout for any time of the day because both its coffee, food, and alcoholic drink selections are not to be missed. There are a dozen curated wines, rotating beers on draft, and cocktails with a twist. Though it’s a coffee shop in the morning, you don’t have to wait for it to be “5 o clock somewhere” to get happy. Beer and wine are served on both floors all day, while cocktails are available after 5 pm.

Customer reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Patrons love Northside Social’s coffee, scones, sandwiches and atmosphere, and enjoy the beautiful decor as well as the ample seating on the patio and deck.

With new businesses like this making their home in Falls Church, the list of things to do any day of the week continues to grow. If you need a new place to work or play, come stop by see Northside Social for yourself.
